ANATEEP aims to improve quality and safety in young people transport as well as to promote and defend free school transport. With its strength of progress and proposition, on behalf of young people, ANATEEP works at the local level and at the international level with its international branch : AIST (www.aist-europe.org).

ANATEEP is recognized as a complementary organization of the French public service of education. Every year, ANATEEP launches a national campaign of education to safety and public-spiritedness. Thanks to our local volunteers, tens of thousands of pupils (from primary to high schools) benefit from education sessions to safety in public transport.

ANATEEP publishes a quarterly magazine called "Transports Scolaires".

With its research department, BETECS, ANATEEP leads training courses for bus-drivers, accompanying adults in primary and secondary schools and "safety in transport" personnel. ANATEEP also leads studies on the transport of young people for the European Commission, different ministries and county councils. It takes part in the writing of guidebooks. It distributes educational aids. ANATEEP also intervenes in the building of bus stops and car parks and in the management of traffic flows in the surrounding areas of schools.
